Q: What is Tech All Stars?

A: Tech All Stars is a program chartered by the European Commission to connect the 12 best European startups and take them to Europe's hottest startup events each summer. Startups will network with influencers and connect with VCs, mentors, potential partners, and other resources. Tech All Stars connects the best European startups with the resources needed to move to the next level!

Q: When is Tech All Stars?

Tech All Stars starts in Berlin on June 7th and 8th 2013 where it is collaborating with AngelsBootcamp to get participants connected with the busy startup scene in Berlin. The second part of Tech All Stars takes three participating startups to pitch and connect at the Founders Forum in London on the 13th of June and the winner will showcase his startup on the 19/20 June at the Digital Agenda in Dublin.

Q: How does Tech All Stars work?

Startups must apply for a spot at Tech All Stars. We'll select 12 of the best startups to participate. The twelve startups will be invited to Berlin. Please be certain that you are available all day on the 7th, the 8th, the 13th, the 19th and the 20th of June.

Q: So what's in it for my startup?

Tech All Stars offers:

  • EXPOSURE - you'll be pitching at the Tech All Stars event as part of Angelsbootcamp. Your startup will have to earn the right to pitch at Founder's Forum London and at the Digital Agenda in Dublin.

  • CONNECTIONS – all three events are buzzing with key players of the European startup and tech scene.

  • FUN - All-expense paid trip to Berlin, London and Dublin (flight/hotel and meals).

Q: When is the application deadline?

The application deadline is May 15th 2013. Click on the Apply button to learn how to apply to Tech All Stars.

Q: When will I know if my startup has been selected for Tech All Stars?

Decisions will be sent out no later than late May 2013. We'll give everyone at least 2 weeks' notice that their startup has been selected. That'll give you time to polish your pitch to a fine sheen and order more business cards!

Q: Who is hosting Tech All Stars?

Tech All Stars is organized by the European Commission Information Society and Media Directorate-General.

Q: Why are you guys doing this?

A: We want to foster an environment of growth for startups in the EU. Tech All Stars increases visibility for your startup in the European market and provides a forum for presenting your startup ideas to angel investors, top executives, mentors, and VCs. We're looking for tomorrow's startup superstars within the EU tech community. Tech All Stars is a good opportunity to engage with new startups that are working on innovative technologies.

Q: Who can participate?

A: We are looking for tech startups that are registered within the EU and are ready to change the world! There are a few criteria that you must meet to participate:

Your startup is:

  • registered within the EU

  • less than 3 years old

  • has raised less than 1,000,000 Euros in external capital

Tech All Stars is reserved for accelerator graduates and web camp winners. However, we're also taking 'wildcards'. Wildcards are hot tech startups that may not have gone through an accelerator or web camp, but have a FANTASTIC startup anyway. We want to give everyone a chance at glory!
