In addition to founding HackFWD, Lars has been a busy man! Lars is an entrepreneur and founder of XING, a world-wide social networking site dedicated to mostly cultivating business contacts. Lars advises the Global Leaders of World Economic Forum, the Young Global Leaders, and helping Germany with their digital strategy as part of the UNICEF council.

Well who is reading all of the Tech All Stars applications anyway? While the Tech All Stars team loves you guys, we don’t review any of the applications.

To make certain that each and every startup applying to Tech All Stars gets the consideration it deserves, we’ve put together a crack team of investors and successful entrepreneurs to review the applications. We’ve decided not to share the identities of our initial selection committee – as we all know, its a small world and you never know who knows who ; ).

Some people have asked questions about the applications from startups from accelerators, incubators, and web camps. For obvious reasons, we’ve decided not to include people connected with accelerators, incubators, or web camps on our initial selection committee – we really want the judging to be as impartial as possible.

So continue to apply! Remember that the application deadline for the Tech All Stars event is May 15th 2012. If you have already started your application, please complete it well before May 15th. We’re expecting a lot of startups to apply in the last days and we want to make certain that everyone can get their application in.
